Mario Kart Wii Rumors Rubbished by Nintendo
Mario Kart Wii is one of the most awaited games this year for the Nintendo Wii. Many gamers are waiting to get their hands on the game. But a few days ago, there were rumors flying around that indicated that the racing game will feature 32 courses. However, Nintendo has come out and rubbished all those claims.
The rumors mentioned that out of the 32 maps in Mario Kart Wii, 16 of them were new while the others were old favorites. That is not the case. A representative from Nintendo told Eurogamer.net, “Nintendo has not announced any further information on Mario Kart. We’ve spoken to the magazine and it’s just pure rumor and speculation on their part.”
Besides the course rumors, there were also speculations that Mario Kart Wii would feature Baby Peach and Boo as drivers. Not only that, there were claims that Battle mode will be playable online, snaking would make a comeback and the controls would be something same as Excite Truck.
