Namco Bandai to bring SoulCalibur Legends to the Wii

Namco Bandai has revealed one more game for the Nintendo Wii. SoulCalibur Legends, a third person action game will find its way to Nintendo’s next-gen console. They have also stated that the game will use the Wii Remote as well as the Nunchuck.

SoulCalibur Legends Coming to the Wii

SoulCalibur Legends for the Nintendo Wii will see the return of Siegfried and other Soul Calibur characters who are on a mission to save an empire. The game is a little different from the earlier SoulCalibur games that were one-on-one fighters. Gamers will carry out moves and combos as they battle scores of enemies and huge bosses.

SoulCalibur Legends is being developed in-house by Namco Bandai and is expected to release in late 2007. Initially, Soul Blade made its debut on the PlayStation and then went to the Dreamcast as Soul Calibur. After that, SoulCalibur III made an appearance on the PS2 and had quite a following.

The SoulCalibur series has always been a game that releases only on one console and this time it seems that Namco has chosen the Nintendo Wii as the perfect match for the game. But who knows, it might just turn up on the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
