WipEout Pulse for PSP Announced by Sony

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has sent word that they will be releasing WipEout Pulse for the PSP. The game has returned to the PSP after a two year hiatus and will feature new tracks, futuristic ships, high-tech weapons and an impressive 7 game modes of high-octane speed.

    WipEout Pulse for PSP is being developed by Sony’s Studio Liverpool and will release in September 2007. The original WipEout game was a huge hit and was launched alongside the Sony PlayStation in Europe in September 1995. It was the first non-Japanese game for the console.

    The game was also famous for its OST that featured popular electronica groups such as Orbital, Chemical Brothers and Leftfield. WipEout Pulse for PSP too will have pumping soundtrack, which is mixed by a range of top artists including Mason, Loco Dice and Stanton Warriors.
