The Bigs 2 is the follow up to the well received ‘The Bigs’ baseball game. And earlier we reported that 2K Sports had released a free demo of The Bigs 2 on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Now, the American publisher has released a free demo of the game for the PSN.
The demo allows players to play a three inning game in the American League All-Stars or National League All-Stars. It supports up to 2 local players and features a new Batter’s Wheelhouse, player models and power-ups. Fans can select new gameplay modes like Season and Become a Legend.
The Home Run Pinball Mode available in the Las Vegas venue allows users to hit their home runs into windows and neon signs. Player animation and visual effects have been improved and the game provides pick up and play controls.
The full version of The Bigs 2 is set to release on July 7, 2009, while prices have not been revealed. Published by 2K Sports, the game will be available on the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2 and PSP.
