Quantum Break price and release details in India out

QB

Microsoft’s hotly anticipated Quantum Break is scheduled for an April 5 release, and we have now received official information about its launch in India. This game will be sold in the country exclusively by Flipkart for the Xbox One, whereas the website has shied away from providing any details about its PC version.

The upcoming game has already been put up for pre-order by the e-retailer as well. Quantum Break can be booked by eager gamers for Rs 3999. Microsoft it seems has worked a little on its pricing strategy this time around. That’s because two of its previous big entries, Halo 5 and Forza 6, had disappointed many due to their high asking amounts.

The game’s biggest competitor during its launch phase will be Sony’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which is on its way for a May 10 release worldwide. It must be noted that the PS4 game has been priced at Rs 3999 as well, and it’s perhaps this that has convinced Microsoft to lower the price of Quantum Break.

News about Quantum Break’s Indian release has come via the Flipkart Gaming Facebook page, which has said that it currently has no information about the PC version of the title. Slated to be launched alongside the Xbox One edition, this version will only work with machines running the Windows 10 OS.

Quantum Break is being developed by Max Payne and Alan Wake makers Remedy Entertainment. It is an action-adventure third-person shooter which has time-bending as one of the major aspects of its gameplay.

Like we said, Quantum Break will be made available in India for the Xbox One on April 5 exclusively through Flipkart in exchange of Rs 3999.
