The company also promises numerous high profile games to hit E3 and we may have been able to stumble across another high profile sequel. Lauren Pears is currently a Technical Associate producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe who is currently working on an unannounced game which is targeted to the core gamer and according to the profile is a “3rd-person action/combat title.”

A few years ago, post the release of the original Heavenly sword, it was rumored that there had been misunderstandings between developer Ninja Theory and Sony Computer Entertainment as a result of which they had a fallout in their relationship. It was during this time news began to circulate on the probability of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe handling the development for its sequel. This makes us believe the current title being spoken about in question is a sequel to Heavenly Sword 2.

The original Heavenly Sword was pitched against Halo 3 with it being released barely a week before Microsoft’s magnum opus hit shelves. With Ninja Theory is working on Enslaved, a title that looks to have been inspired by the organic beauty of Uncharted and the Steam punk universe, it is indeed Sony Europe who may be involved with the sequel. Hopefully we shall find more on the game as we hit the E3 2010 stage.
