This week on the Xbox Live Arcade, ‘Death Tank’ has been released for download. The game dates back to the DOS era and a contemporary version is now available.
Death Tank features a ‘to-the-death’ battle for up to eight tanks. Players can customize their tanks with an array of weapons and there are even handy pick-ups along the way. Up to four players can enjoy the mindless destruction of Death Tanks in offline play, plus the game allows for eight players to battle it out in online play. Death Tanks is a 2D game with next generation graphics and software and features a host of destructible environments.
Death Tanks has been developed by Snowblind Studios and is published by Microsoft. The game went online on the Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 and can be purchased for 1,200 Microsoft points which should be equivalent to about 15 USD (approx. Rs. 750).
