The summer is coming to an end. And to celebrate, we have word that discounts on Xbox Live Arcade titles, the latest Avatar duds, new Games on Demand titles and a free episode of Fable II will be coming this month to Xbox Live.
The Avatar Marketplace features new styles and flashbacks. Starting on September 24, 2009 fans can dress their Avatar in authentic racing gear from Forza Motorsport 3. In the meanwhile, from September 10, 2009 fans can give their Avatars a makeover from the 80’s Modern collection, and on September 17, 2009 the latest from Urban Culture will be available.
This September, there will be four new weeks of the best that Xbox Live has to offer, with Xbox Live Deal of the Week. Huge discounts will be available for Lode Runner on September 14 and for Pinball FX on September 21, 2009. The month will end with a 50 percent discount on the top 10 downloadable songs from Guitar Hero World Tour. The Xbox Live Deal of the Week exclusively gives Xbox Live Gold members more for less this September.
The Games on Demand lineup for this month is rather impressive. Yesterday Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution was released on Games on Demand, and lets players lead a nation into the future in a quest to rule the world. Players can wage wars, maintain peace, discovery new technology and build the strongest empire out there. The game is available in the US, Canada and Germany. Hitting the US, Europe and Asia on September 15, 2009 is FIFA Street 3. The game is a twist to football and brings plenty of attitude and style to street football.
Shaun White Snowboarding will be available on September 22, 2009 in Mexico, the US, Asia and Europe. Players must take on extreme conditions and can compete with other riders in the terrain parks. Gamers can even carry out their own runs on mountainous slopes where there are other gamers on Xbox Live. Fable II: Game Episodes will be made available throughout the world except in Korea and Japan on September 29, 2009. It delivers the full Fable II experience complete with all Achievements and challenges of the disc-based game. The first episode is completely free, and after playing through the chapter, players will be given the choice to purchase the next adventure.
