StarCraft 2 Will Be A Trilogy, Says Blizzard Entertainment
StarCraft is one of the most popular real-time strategy video games of all time. Millions of gamers have enjoyed it and Blizzard Entertainment sent all the fans in frenzy last year when it announced the sequel for 2009. Now Blizzard has sent word that StarCraft 2 will actually be a trilogy.

Yes you heard it right! At the BlizzCon in Anaheim, California, Blizzard revealed that the RTS StarCraft II will be apparently released as a trilogy. The three games will focus on the playable races. The first game will be Terrans: Wings of Liberty. According to Blizzard, the second and the third game can be likened to expansion packs.
The second and the third game in the StarCraft 2 trilogy are Zerg: Heart of the Swarm and Protoss: Legacy of the Void respectively. Each game will have their own their single player and multiplayer campaign. But there will be upgrades to multiplayer. However, there was no word on the specific release dates of the StarCraft 2 games.
