Ubisoft has announced that the popular Trials Fusion title has finally been treated to online multiplayer support and the new capability has already been made available for download. What’s more, the developer also revealed that the latest DLC for the game will be released on January 27.
With the latest update, Trials Fusion players will be able to compete with others and friends online and in different game modes. The company notes that up to 4 people can play together on the Xbox 360 and the number is doubled if you game on the Xbox One, PS4 or PC.
A total of three new gameplay modes have been included into the multiplayer update. First up is the Online X-Supercross where up to 8 players can compete. The race takes place on two random tracks and lasts for two rounds on each location. The winner of the match is the one with the highest score. Then there’s Private Game where you’ll be given a lot of customization options.

With up to 8 players supported, you’ll be able to choose a track, modify race parameters and also make tweaks to the bike controls, speed and arena gravity. On PC, there’s a Private Game with Spectators option so that your friends can stream your races. The video below basically summarizes everything you can do in online multiplayer on Trials Fusion.
Ubisoft has even announced that the fourth DLC pack for the game which is also the largest one so far, will be made available for download on January 27. The new update introduces 11 fresh tracks, 27 more challenges and additional achievements to be earned. There are also many new editor objects for creating your own stuff.
The Fire in the Deep DLC is of course, free for all season pass holders and it’ll cost you $4.99 as a separate purchase. Trials Fusion online multiplayer is a free update for everyone and the company notes that the last two DLC will be released by March.
