Andrew Wilson, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Development, EA Sports commented, “The EA Sports Fight Night franchise has consistently delivered one of the best sports experiences with each iteration. EA Sports Fight Night Round 4 was a genre defining game, and led the way as the industry transitioned to physics-based sports games. EA Sports Fight Night Champion will again forge new ground and deliver a sports experience unlike anything seen in the genre to date.”

EA Sports has also embedded a new control scheme into Fight Night Champion known as the Full Spectrum Punch Control. With this inclusion, the company gives fans the most realistic punching system employed in a simulation fighting title. Besides all these features, the visual presentation is also improved with fluid animations and realistic likeness of the boxers. The stunning visuals also excellently portray the brutality of boxing.

Fight Night Champion is slated to release onto the Xbox 360 and PS3 gaming consoles by 2011 although the exact pricing and availability details are still unclear at this point.
