Codemasters’ International Cricket 2010 Unveiled by Zapak, coming next week

We earlier reported that International Cricket 2010 which has England’s Stuart Broad on its cover would be coming in June. Now we have word that Zapak has introduced Codemasters’ International Cricket 2010 by hosting a special preview at Landmark, Phoenix Mills. The game was unveiled by Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma and actress Prachee Desai.

International Cricket 2010 is set to redefine the cricket experience on consoles with special features. The new Action Cam serves to immerse users in the intensity and excitement of the international game of cricket, with its new on-field perspectives putting gamers directly on the pitch. The new Power Stick allows for 360 degree batting control giving gamers the widest selection of shots possible.

After playing the game for a while, a highly excited Ishant Sharma exclaimed, “Cricket has taken a giant leap ahead and has entered our homes through consoles and computer screens. Today youngsters enjoy virtual cricket games as much as they enjoy live matches. I enjoy cricket in all forms too. With special features like Action Cam and Power Stick, International Cricket 2010 gives a real on-ground experience which will surely excite the gamers.”

Prachi Desai commented, “I am a self confessed cricket lover! I think cricket games are as exciting as a live match. I am a huge fan of Ashes 2009 and have already booked a copy of International Cricket 2010. I tried playing this game and it was an awesome experience. For once I felt that I am actually playing a live game on a cricket pitch.”

International Cricket 2010 is developed by Trickstar Games and published by Codemasters. It is scheduled to hit retail stores on June 18, 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
