Pure Football Swings into Stores this May

Pure Football

It looks like Ubisoft is bitten by the sports bug these days. Earlier in the day we had reported that the company revealed a new Shaun White Skateboarding which is scheduled to unleash into stores this holiday season. Ubisoft brings another sporting title to the forefront with the introduction of Pure Football.

The company claims that Pure Football offers a unique take on the game of football as it focuses on the in-depth and physical features of the popular sport. The game provides an over-the-shoulder camera as well as visceral audio which perfectly compliment the matches being played out. These inclusions are set to put players right in the middle of all the action. It also provides a different feel than watching it on a TV broadcast.

The game is packed with 230 elite footballers, 17 legendary players and 17 international teams. Players will be able to fashion and customize their very own athletes which can be then taken through the campaign mode. As they progress in the game, they will be pitted against some of the world’s most recognized players from around the globe and ultimately show off their skills in the final tournament. Pure Football has the ability to support up to four players in multiplayer mode as well as 1vs1 matches online. The game also boasts of leaderboards where they can compete against each other.

Pure Football is currently under development by Ubisoft Vancouver and is set to kick into stores by May this year. The exact pricing details and availability are not yet disclosed by Ubisoft as yet.
