UK FIFA 10 Pack features Frank Lampard, Theo Walcott & Wayne Rooney

Electronic Arts have revealed that the UK cover sportsmen for EA Sports FIFA 10 will feature some of the biggest Premier League stars. The company stated that Theo Walcott from Arsenal and midfielder Frank Lampard from Chelsea FC will join the likes of Manchester United’s striker Wayne Rooney for the UK cover.

FIFA 10 will be the fifth year in which Rooney has graced the UK pack cover. Walcott will make his debut with this game while Lampard has already appeared on the UK cover of 2006 FIFA World Cup.

“FIFA is definitely the best football game on the market, and I am delighted to be featured on the cover again. I play the game regularly online and against a lot of the lads at the club and I’m looking forward to the 360 degree control as it will make FIFA even more realistic than any other football game out there,” stated Manchester United and England striker, Wayne Rooney.

“I’m really pleased to be part of the EA Sports FIFA franchise. Being on the cover of this great football video game with such a long history is really special for me”, mentioned Lampard.

“To join the likes of Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard on the cover of FIFA is a huge honour for me. FIFA is the game of choice in the Arsenal dressing room so I’ll have to keep on top of my game to make sure I’m the best FIFA 10 player at the club,” added Theo Walcott.

FIFA 10 will include new standard for authenticity complete with gameplay amendments and innovations that will push the intelligent simulation barrier to its extreme limits. The title comprises of superior ball control and physical interaction between the players on field.

“We’re delighted to welcome both Frank and Theo to the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise for the 2009-2010 season. Along with Wayne, they represent the very best of English football talent and we’re proud to have them join us for FIFA 10,” quoted Trevor Uzice – Marketing Manager for FIFA 10.

The game also claims to be the first-ever true 360 degrees dribbling system. With this new innovative feature players can gain better control over the ball and even find those difficult spaces between the defenders. FIFA 10 consists of the revised version of the famous Manager Mode which comprises of over 50 major amendments.

FIFA 10 will kick off on October 2, 2009 and will be localized into 17 languages and will be sold in 37 countries. The game will be compatible with consoles such as PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC, Nintendo DS and PSP. The price of the game is however under wraps.
