Fate/Unlimited Codes for PSP coming to PSN next week

Capcom had earlier said that Fate/Unlimited Codes would be coming in the summer. Now Capcom’s John Diamonon writes on the PlayStation Blog that Fate/Unlimited Codes, specially designed for the PSPgo, will be making its way to the PlayStation Network next week. He also says that he cannot go through with the comment contest as the PSB servers would not be able to handle it.

The fighting game takes place in a Japanese town where seven pairs of ‘Masters’ and ‘Servants’ battle for the mysterious ‘Holy Grail’. A roster of characters with their own unique moves is featured in the fast paced, weapons based fighting title. The game has stunning 3D graphics and a pseudo-3D fighting system.

Speedy combo attacks are everything in the game, and the move canceling system adds great depth to the gameplay. At the same time, the command inputs are simple enough for anyone to be able to play any character. The game’s training mode allows players to improve their moves. The game is not all graphics and moves though. It features 8 game modes in addition to 17 playable characters, over 250 stage missions and more.

Fate/Unlimited Codes will be made available on September 3, 2009 and it is exclusive to the PlayStation Network. The game is developed by Eighting for the PSP.
