Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising coming for PSP in Europe, says Namco
Namco Bandai has previously announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 which is expected to release sometime this May. Now Namco Bandai Games Europe has made known that Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising will release in Europe for the PSP in autumn. The game expanding on the popular Naruto Shippuden series allows players to control over ten of their favorite ninjas including Akatsuki.
The game features many different playing modes including two-player versus and co-op play via the ad hoc network on the PSP. Also appearing in the game is a Scenario Mode which brings in a variety of side missions aimed at improving the character’s abilities such as health, attack and defense. Players can also control the Akatsuki organization in the Akatsuki Mode. Gaara has been kidnapped by the Akatsuki organization and Naruto and his friends face many challenges in Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising as they search for Gaara, the fifth Kazekage.
The game has streamlined controls for the PSP which make the fast-paced action all that more exciting. Players must time the powerful Jutsu attacks, entering Hypermode to devastate their opponents. The Hyper Gauge betters the Jutsu or unlocks new Jutsus. Players can form a three-man team for each mission giving the upper hand in combat. With the special abilities and skills of each character, players must choose the appropriate character to combine their attacks and wipe out the opposition.
