Counter-Strike: Global Offensive launches through This Week’s PS Store Update

Valve’s extremely awaited Counter Strike: Global Offensive has arrived on the scene finally, and its PS3 version can now be accessed through this week’s PS Store update. Other new entries to the service include Way of the Samurai 4, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure HD as well as HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the latest installment to the legendary online tactical action game series. This PS3 version can be played with DualShock controllers, PS Move peripherals as well as with keyboard and mouse setups. It can be purchased via PSN at a price of 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 830). Transformers: Fall of Cybertron has also released with this week’s PS Store update with its price tagged at 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,325).

Michael Jackson: The Experience has arrived on PSN as well. It sells at a price of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,110). Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 were part of the MGS HD Collection released earlier, and now, these two games are available to download separately on the PS3 as well as the PS Vita. For the PS3, they’re priced at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 830) each, while for the Vita, they go for 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,110) each.

Way of the Samurai 4 has finally arrived on western shores, and it can be picked up currently for 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,220). Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure HD also makes its way to PSN this week with a price tag of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,110). Another new launch is Deep Black, a third person action shooter set in an underwater environment. It can be downloaded in exchange of 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 830).

Furthermore, a new shoot ‘em up title named Retro/Grade has hit PSN as well. It can be bought for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 555). Crazy Strike Bowling and Legasista are the other two games released this week with their prices placed at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 830) and 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,665), respectively. This week’s only PS2 Classic is Gungrave Overdose which is accompanied by three new PS minis – Chopper I, The Next Space and Top Trumps NBA All Stars.

For PS Plus subscribers, beta access to Dust 514 has been made available. Apart from discounts on various titles, they also receive free game trials of Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Michael Jackson: The Experience. Lastly, this week’s PS Store update has brought demo versions of Dragon’s Dogma, Sleeping Dogs, NHL 13, Retro/Grade and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, which can all be downloaded for free.
