From inFamous and the game that followed, the leading character Cole MacGrath will step into the frame with extraordinary powers including the melee attack that featured in the sequel. Players can utilize Cole’s well-rounded combat skills in both long and short range fights. By controlling his cryokinesis and lightning superpowers, they can either attack their challengers from a safe distance or plunge in with power towards the act.

“Initially debuting on PS2 in 2001, Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter series has seen critical acclaim and success, spawning multiple titles on PS2, PS3, and PSP. Fans have enjoyed Jak and Daxter’s signature style and varied gameplay, so we considered them prime candidates for our game. Jak and Daxter are beastly on the Battle Royale battlefield; they’ve definitely been my go-to pair lately here at the studio,” remarked Daniel Maniago, Community Manager, SuperBot Entertainment on the official PlayStation blog.

The title will tag along gaming characters, Jak and Daxter from their popular series that has featured on the PS2, PSP and even PS3 in the form of the Jak and Daxter HD Collection. Fan-loved weapons like the Blaster, Gyro Burster, Needle Lazer and the Mass Inverter will make their comeback in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Effective as a team, both these characters even have their own powers. Jak can unleash both his light and dark sides, while Daxter will be aiding him in his combat.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be launched in North America on October 23, followed by Europe on October 24, this year.
