It’s been a year of more than 170 discounts, over 50 free games and a total of 800 USD in savings for PlayStation Plus customers. The service is now offering its customers, new subscription packs. As a part of its first birthday celebrations, PlayStation Plus is tendering account holders with Birthday Bonus Months.
The offers, which started yesterday include the PlayStation Plus 1-year package that will let gamers enjoy an additional 3 months of subscription for free. Signing up for a 3 month package will fetch gamers 1 extra month. This way, users would receive subscriptions of 15 months for the price of 12 months or 4 months for the price of 3.
Grace Chen, Director, PlayStation Store, commented, “It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we launched the program, providing subscribers with offers like the full PSN game WipEout HD, a number of PSP minis and PS One Classics, such as Age of Zombies, and more recently, the highly anticipated early demo of Mortal Kombat.”
The Birthday Bonus Months offer is now available on PlayStation Plus and will last through July 11 2011.
