Final Fantasy VII Characters to Enter LittleBigPlanet 2

Back in 2008, when the game launched, fans caught a glimpse of the Sephiroth-inspired Sackboy. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. Developers of LittleBigPlanet 2 recently announced on the PlayStation blog that gamers would soon be able to play as Final Fantasy VII characters, available in the form of DLCs on the PlayStation Store.

The pack would allow gamers to play as Cloud, Sepiroth, Aeris and Tifa who can be purchased all together or separately from July 13, 2011. Players who buy the whole pack will get a bonus Vincent character with it. Also releasing these coming weeks are Cole ‘inFamous 2’ McGrath costumes which will let gamers play as either good Cole or his bad avatar. The inFamous 2 mini-pack will also offer new stickers for the game.

A Killzone 3 mini-pack is also can also be procured but not before July 20, 2011. Along with new stickers, the pack will contain Rico and Hazmat Trooper costumes. The Toy Story packs which were unveiled by the developers at the E3 are also expected to release somewhere in the future.

Upon their release the Final Fantasy VII characters for LittleBigPlanet 2 will be priced at 1.99 USD each (approx Rs. 88) while the whole pack would cost gamers 5.99 USD (approx Rs. 266). The inFamous 2 and the Killzone 3 packs will both cost 2.99 USD (approx Rs. 132) a piece.
