A few days ago, we had reported that Psyonix Studios had announced Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars for the PlayStation Network. Now Hong Kong-based company Eastasiasoft has sent word about Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer for the PSN.
Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer is a horizontally scrolling shooter that has an antihero mercenary and bounty hunter teaming up to save the world. The game has y-scrolling, new background animations, newly added effects along with new enemies, including newly crafted standard foes and larger sub boss battles. There is PS3 Trophy support also.
Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer for the PS3 will feature support for the DualShock 3 and Sixaxis (optional). The gameplay of the shooter will be rebalanced with an easier default difficulty. The high score system with new victory screens will also be rebalanced. They have also added new sound effects and extra boss battle as well as berserker mode background music.
Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer will be released for the PS3 on the PlayStation Network in October 2008. Other territories will get it after it releases in the North American region. The shooter was released for the PC platform by Eastasiasoft in December last year.
