Microsoft too had a great time in February; its strategy of putting Halo 3 Beta Keys in Crackdown worked and the game is the best selling title.

Reggie Fils-Aime, president, Nintendo of America said, “We are gratified that the explosive appeal of Wii, in terms of both new players and new ways to play, has created extraordinary demand, considerably beyond supply. But we also understand that there are hundreds of thousands of consumers still waiting to get their hands on the system so we continue to both ship more units to retail every week and work non-stop to build capacity.”

Meanwhile, Sony’s PS3 just sold a disappointing 127,000 units while the Xbox 360 sold 228,000 copies. PS3’s figures are even worse than PS2 and PSP, which sold 295,000 units and 176,000 units respectively. Even GBA sold more units than the PS3. No wonder, the Top 10 games sold in February are for the DS, Wii and Xbox 360.
