Goat Simulator has hit Android and iOS earlier than expected

Like many publishers these days, the makers of Goat Simulator have not kept their promise on its release date, but it’s the other way round for this game. What was supposed to be released tomorrow has been let out into the open earlier than that, and Android as well as iOS users can now enjoy what can only be termed as the strangest yet so utterly enjoyable game of the year. This title can be purchased through the Google Play store or the App Store in exchange of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs 300).

Goat Simulator

Goat Simulator is developed by Coffee Stain Studios, and had initially started off as just a joke. Its prototype was developed in an internal game jam, and the response it received on its YouTube videos coerced the developers to pursue the project further, and thus a final game was born. It was released for PC through Steam this April, while June saw it making its way to Mac and Linux platforms. Moreover, it’s also supposed to land on the Xbox One sometime soon.

This game is played through the a third-person perspective and of course lets you assume the role of a goat. There’s no particular aim or objective, but you can stay busy by doing as much damage to property as possible and earning points for it. Another important aspect about this game is that its developers never really look into fixing any of its bugs. They just let them be to increase the amusement factor of the whole experience.

Like we said, Goat Simulator can be downloaded now through the Google Play store as well as through the Apple App Store.
