Green Day: Rock Band In Stores Now

In December last year, fans of music-based video games and Green Day went wild with the news of a Rock Band game dedicated exclusively to the band. Some time ago we heard of the game’s track list. Now Green Day, Harmonix, MTV Games, and Reprise/Warner Bros. Records have announced that Green Day: Rock Band is now available in North American retail stores for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and will be available across Europe on June 11, 2010.

Green Day: Rock Band ships with 47 on-disc songs, including those from Dookie and American Idiot as well as those from 21st Century Breakdown, and is played out over three unique venues capturing the energy and spirit of Green Day. The game also features three-part vocal harmonies first introduced in The Beatles: Rock Band, as well as exclusive collectible images and videos.

Fans can purchase the Green Day: Rock Band game in two versions, the standalone game, and the Green Day: Rock Band Plus version which includes special packaging, the six Green Day DLC tracks, and a song export key to export all on-disc songs to the console’s hard drive to be played in Rock Band, Rock Band 2, or the upcoming Rock Band 3 games.

The Green Day: Rock Band standalone game is available for 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,815) or 59.99 euros (approx. Rs. 3,395) or 49.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 3,425) for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and for 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,345) or 39.99 euros (approx. Rs. 2,265) or 34.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 2,395) for the Wii console. The Green Day: Rock Band Plus version will be available for a price of 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,285) for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US and Canada only.
