Earlier we reported that The Sims 3 World Adventures had gone gold. Now EA has sent word that The Sims 3 World Adventures is available at retail stores across North America, and for digital download for the PC and Mac. The expansion pack will hit stores worldwide this week.
“The Sims 3 World Adventures is the most robust expansion pack in the history of The Sims franchise,” Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims at EA, stated. “Players can take their Sims to three new real-world inspired locations in Egypt, France, and China where they will embark on exciting adventures, master new skills, and discover exotic objects and treasures to collect. In addition, the enhanced building and customization features will allow players to express their creativity in exciting new ways. We’re looking forward to seeing what players create and the new stories, content, and movies they’ll share online.”
The Sims explore areas far from Sunset Valley, and travel to places inspired by real-world locations in Egypt, France and China. When players register their PC or Mac copy online they will receive exclusive, extra game content, such as the Explorer’s Loot Set which includes exotic Egyptian furniture, Chinese décor, and more as well as 1,000 SimPoints.
Players can enjoy the ‘Simlish’ music from various global artists including the likes of Grammy award-winners Nelly Furtado, LeAnn Rimes, as well as rising stars Esmee Denters, Evan Taubenfeld, Fefe Dobson, Katie Melua, Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, Pixie Lott, Young Punx!, Madina Lake, and more.
The Sims 3 World Adventures is available at retail and online through digital distribution from the EA Store. Prices have not been revealed.
