Those who claim to be ‘taken’ by Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake may welcome this tidbit involving the next installment. Apparently dubbed Alan Wake: Night Springs, the game is going to veer away from a retail release and move directly onto Xbox Live Arcade.
XBLAFans even claims to have laid eyes on screen caps, though they’ve seemingly been dissuaded from posting the evidence. Apart from the source of the rumor being labeled as ‘extremely trustworthy’ there is actually no word to confirm the story.
With regards to anything touching upon proper confirmation of a new installment, Eurogamer’s chat with the Finnish studio has been cited. Accordingly, more Wake is indeed coming, but fans shouldn’t be expecting DLC or a sequel.
There’s obviously no word on the expected launch date of Alan Wake: Night Springs when Remedy Entertainment has yet to officially acknowledge the news.
