Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gets a release date, unique pre-order bonuses unveiled

Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has just been blessed with a release date by its makers. This action-RPG from the tremendously loved series will be made available for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC on February 23 next year.

Along with that, Square Enix has also revealed a unique tier-based pre-order system that will allow gamers to choose from a range of bonuses over time. Once you pre-order Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and get your pre-order code, you’ll be able to log into the title’s website and customize your bonuses.

There will be five tiers in total, with each of them filled with different bonuses. You can choose one item from each tier, as it gets unlocked. As for when the tiers get unlocked, that will happen when the number of global pre-orders reaches a particular number.

This game puts you in the shoes of familiar protagonist Adam Jensen who now has fresh technology and body augmentations at his disposal. It only features single-player gameplay, and is played from the first-person perspective, with a third-person perspective cover system also being present. It is set in 2029, two years after the events from the previous title in the series, Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
