Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition delayed

We’ve received confirmed news that the Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition release date has been pushed to sometime in November, as opposed to the original launch date which was to fall in this week. This remake of the iconic RPG which first came out in 1998 is being handled by Overhaul Games – a division of Beamdog, the company that is made up of a number of Bioware’s (the original maker of the game) ex-employees.

To all who have pre-ordered, we ask for your patience as we move toward our final release date — and we will be working on something a little extra for you. To all who have volunteered, we thank you for your dedication and support.”
