Dungeon Siege III which was earlier perceived to release in May, will now be unleashed a month later in June. Furthermore, Square Enix has revealed that the game would include accessible controls and copious co-op gameplay elements. Players can also acquire Dungeon Siege I and II for free with the Steam pre-purchase of the third offering. Now through the latest Dungeon Siege III vignette, the final character of the four allies was revealed to be Reinhart Manx.
The newly announced character is noted to be a descended from a great line of Legion mages. He has studied magic at the Collegium and lived most of his life in Stonebridge. Reinhart Manx has the ability to bend the forces of destruction and creation as per his desire. By channeling dynamic magic via his gauntlet, the magician can stun and shock his enemies from a far distance. Manx is also known for his innovative magical techniques and unconventional thinking.
Dungeon Siege III transports gamers to the crumbling kingdom of Ehb where they are called upon to avenge their fallen comrades. The decisions made by the players are touted to have lasting effects and even the overall outcome of the forthcoming title. They can either dive into the adventure alone or with up to three friends in co-op multiplayer mode. They can seamlessly drop in and out of battle as the game includes robust AI.
Dungeon Siege III is expected to release across Europe and other PAL territories on June 17 while players in North America can indulge in gameplay on June 21, 2011.
