For those who have been waiting to dominate their gaming screens, Bioware is designing the next chapter to its earlier dark heroic fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins. This new sequel namely Dragon Age 2 is currently being developed for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC systems.
“Last year’s launch of Dragon Age: Origins was one of the most successful in BioWare’s 15-year history and one of the most successful new IP launches in the 28 year history of EA,” explained Dr. Ray Muzyka, Senior Vice President of Electronic Arts and Co-founder and Group General Manager of BioWare. “Dragon Age 2 will simultaneously deliver an epic story and set a new bar for intense action in the genre. We’re very excited to deliver this next bold evolution in the Dragon Age franchise to our fans.”
With an all new storyline, Dragon Age 2 is set to narrate a decade long struggle of the ruined refuge namely Hawke. The survivor of the Blight and Kirkwall’s victor must recreate his magic to rise to power. This alone would seal his ascend and help him obtain the status of most important person in the Dragon Age world. Instilled with a vibrant storyline, a more receptive combat system along with superior action, the game will offer players a chance to revolutionize the Dragon Age universe eternally.

The makers are designing this new sequel with more action and challenging sequences. The company has also announced that gamers will be able to redefine Hawke’s journey on their own. In the title, players must make difficult choices and unite with dubious allies to grant Hawke the desired fame and fortune. The dynamic contest between the good and evil will be enhanced with upgraded graphics. This will help boost the overall gaming experience.
Gamers can step into Hawke’s boots to unravel the mysteries of the fictitious world and defeat opponents in Dragon Age 2 from March 2011 onwards. The exact availability dates and pricing details have not yet been revealed.
