The holiday season is bringing in some really great additions for PS3 gamers. Just in time for the festive season, the music-puzzle fusion game Lumines Supernova has been added to the PS3 store. It comes with a limited but free Holiday skin pack too.
There had been rumors doing the round in September 2008 that Lumines Supernova will be reaching PSN. Q Entertainment has finally brought the music cum action puzzle game to the PlayStation 3. The gameplay requires players to create same-colored squares of 4 or more blocks.
So what’s exactly in store for this PS3 download? The title will comprise of some new modes namely Dig Down Mode, Time Attack and Skin Edit modes and Sequencer Mode. The latter mode will let gamers create their own background music.
With 40 skins, the game also boast of Trophies, Puzzle and Mission levels and a local 2-player Battle mode for those sharing types who ignore the ‘mine’ in Lumines. There’s also a free Holiday Pack that comprises of 20 seasonal skins including the LittleBigPlanet skin.
The downloadable PS3 version of the Lumines Supernova will be available in North America starting December 23, 2008 at a price of $14.99 (approx. Rs. 710).
