GTA V’s PC version gets its own movie editing tool

Creating game videos for YouTube will be a pretty seamless experience if a video editor is available right in the title you’re playing, and that’s what Rockstar has done with GTA V. The PC version of this game as well as GTA Online come equipped with Rockstar Editor, a full-fledged editing studio that lets you craft awesome videos of you gameplay. Apart from YouTube, you’ll also be able to share your clips on the Rockstar Games Social Club using this new and interesting tool.

Rockstar Editor basically enables you to capture gameplay footage that just happened or is about to happen. You can edit it in a number of different ways, and stitch more than one clip together. You can change the camera mode of your captured footage as well, which is a great asset in altering the dynamics of your final video. Moreover, you’re also allowed to play around with filters and depth of field. Rockstar Editor furthermore, enables you to utilize tracks from the GTA V soundtrack in your videos in many creative ways.

Another interesting feature of this editing tool is Director Mode that lets open the game’s entire sandbox for you to play around with. It’s basically a feature that lets you make your own films by using locations, characters and even animals from GTA V and GTA Online. Rockstar Editor is only meant for the PC version of GTA V and GTA Online as of now. This much awaited PC version of the game has released all over the world today, offering a ton of added features that weren’t a part of the console variants.
