The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has its PC requirements outlined

The twice delayed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will hopefully be launched on its current release date on May 19, and those wishing to fire it up on their PCs can now take a look at the minimum and recommended specifications required to run the game properly. CD Projekt RED will also be offering the title on the Xbox One and the PS4, whereas a rumor has told us that Linux and Mac versions will be deployed later on as well.

The minimum requirements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt include either an Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz CPU or an AMD Phenom II X4 940 unit. In order to play the game properly, you’ll at least need to have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 graphics card on an AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics card. 6GB worth of RAM is a necessity, apart from 40GB of hard disk space.

The recommended specifications that will help you run the game at its maximum potential include an Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz CPU or an AMD AMD FX-8350 4GHz one. On the graphics front, either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 unit or an AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU will work in your favor. You’ll moreover, need to push in 8GB worth of RAM in order to get the best out of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on your PC. 64-bit copies of Windows 7 or Windows 8 (8.1) will be needed to play the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world action-RPG that’s set in a world which has been described to be 20 times bigger than the one portrayed in Skyrim. Like we said, it will be released on May 19 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
