Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has stated that they are working on three new projects. EverQuest II: Rise of Kunark, High Stakes and Kung Fu Hustle are the games that are now being developed by SOE.
Rise of Kunark is an expansion pack for EverQuest II. It is expected to contain the dragon-like Sarnak for the race portfolio. Rise of Kunark will also include new quests, weapons, armour, zones, and deities and will be out in November 2007.
The second game is for the Chinese market. It is a title based on the comedy action film Kung Fu Hustle. The game will have an eight-player online mode and will be completely free to play. However, gamers will have to shell out some money for additional items and extra lives.
Last, but not the least is a game for the PS3. High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition will have Hold ‘Em, Super Hold ‘Em, Billabong, Tahoe and Shanghai versions of the poker game. However, the best part about it is the inclusion of the PlayStation Eye. They have not said anything about the release dates, but Sony did state that the game will cost $9.99 (approx. Rs.410).
