Go! Go! Kokopolo which involves gamers taking the role of hyperactive wildcat Kokopolo, makes its way to the eShop and DSi Shop as part of this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. Remember playing Super Adventure Island II on the creaky SNES systems? The 1995 classic can now be downloaded as a Wii Virtual Console title. Two new videos for the Nintendo Video app have also been released along with other games.
Hailed as the world’s first chase em’ up game, Go! Go! Kokopolo requires gamers to pursue those responsible for spoiling Kokopolo’s afternoon slumber. Enemies can be lured into chases, mazes, highways and also into the tummies of carnivorous Snap Snap plants. A total of 80 stages are included in this title which takes place in 10 worlds.
Avenging Spirit is a 3DS exclusive and another classic on this week’s list of downloadable content. Players have to help a heroic ghost as he tries to rescue his girlfriend from kidnappers. My Asian Farm for both the 3DS and DSi handhelds is a breeding simulation game that includes 6 kind of customizable animals. A notable feature is that gamers can swap their animals with friends who play other Farm titles in the series.
The Wii gets a new game in the form of Kyotokei which takes place in the fantasy world of Estaria and engages players in 5 levels, all having their own different environments. Two-player cooperative multiplayer mode is also available with this one. In Super Adventure Island II, the chubby hero Master Higgins sets out on a new quest to rescue his wife Tina after they get separated due to a hurricane.
Crazy Hamster is yet another offering for both the 3DS and the DSi consoles. In this game, the hungry creature must collect fruits in order to survive the winter. The two videos released for the Nintendo Video app consist of Next Level: Hugs! by CollegeHumor and a trailer of the hit TV show, Glee 3D.
