Wii Play: Motion Set for a June Launch in Europe

Last month, Nintendo unveiled a roster of titles for the Wii along with their release dates. Amongst the numerous games in the list, Wii Play: Motion has been crafted to deliver instant fun on the system with its simulating gameplay. The company has now detailed the title while confirming its release date in the European continent.

A successor to Wii Play, this new title is an assortment of 12 minigames for unfurling vibrant experiences on the system. Optimized as per the special capabilities of the Wii Remote Plus, the game allows players to indulge in dramatic settings as their personalized Mii character. Each minigame in the title features multiple modes that enable enthusiasts to swing, tilt, hit and spin the controller for deriving a precise reproduction of their actions on the screen.

Gamers can immerse in its expansive play through single player and multiplayer modes with approximately 3 people by their side. One of the included minigames namely Wind Runner facilitates players to skate with an umbrella as they wade through a race course. The title will also enable them to gather deep-sea treasure in Treasure Twirl or balance scoops of ice cream one over the other within a giant waffle cone. The Skip Skimmer requires enthusiasts to skip stones along a lake whereas Spooky Search sets up a game with wayward spirits.

Wii Play: Motion will be unleashed in stores throughout Europe on June 24, 2011. It has been bundled exclusively with a special red Wii Remote Plus controller.
