Avast Ye Mateys! Majesco Entertainment unveils to all ye landlubbers a brand new title right from the depths of Davy Jones locker. The company introduces some good ol’ pirate fun with the announcement of Pirates Plund-Arrr. This title is fashioned especially for the Nintendo Wii console. Players must make their way through the creature infested waters such as underwater city and murky swamp as well as a haunted village in the swashbuckling game. They will finally challenge Rudebelly and get a chance to reacquire the stolen treasure. Gamers can execute drive-by style attacks while sitting atop warthogs, fighting slug bosses and start meat meteor showers. Pirates Plund-Arrr is overrun with over 40 different foes which include the likes of mummies, slimefish, skeletons and other weird creatures all packed in a huge Caribbean adventure.

To defend themselves against such ghastly beings, players are equipped with combo attacks and have the ability to wield different weapons such as flaming axes and razor-sharp meat cleavers. The gaming environment can also be used in this endeavor. Gamers can simply just pick up rocks and barrels strewn along the place and hurl it at the oncoming enemies.

Another effective way to get rid of the bad guys is to pick one of them and throw them overboard, pirate style. As the game progresses, players can acquire upgrades and perks with the XP points they gain along the way. What’s more, the game also offers multiplayer fun by letting 4 players get in on all the action together.

Pirates Plund-Arrr for Wii is slated to unveil later this year in Europe. No word yet on the pricing details of this pirate-oriented game.
