Back in 2008, EA unleashed the first chapter in the Nerf ‘N-Strike’ franchise for the Wii. A year later, we saw the advent of the second installment which further expanded the horizon of this on-rail shooter. EA Play has now released the Nerf ‘N-Strike’ Double Blast Bundle for pumping up the experience yielded by these games.
Comprising two complete Nerf-branded video games, this Double Blast Bundle has been packed with a Red Reveal decoder lens and a custom Nerf Switch Shot EX-3 blaster. The former enables players to recognize their adversaries’ shortfalls while they solve puzzles and decode secret messages in ‘N-Strike’ Elite. Gamers can also enhance their shot precision by inserting the Wii Remote into a predesigned chamber of the EX-3 blaster.

Both the included titles have been embedded with a dozen unlockable in-game blasters. These incorporate digital imitations of genuine Nerf products including Vulcan EBF-25, Raider Rapid Fire CS 35 and Longshot CS-6. Gamers can also lay their hands on two fantasy blasters namely Crusher and Semper Fire which have been crafted exclusively for the game.

The first title in the series traces the journey of a Nerf recruit through challenging missions and skill chambers under the guidance of a robot mentor, B.O.B. It concludes with the formation of a team encompassing the top Elite Strikers at the facility.
In the next installment, gamers can step into one of the four accomplished strikers’ role, each with special abilities and distinct blasters. As one of the best in the field, they have to pull down an army of robots. By racking maximum points in these titles, they can purchase upgrades such as darts, scopes and lasers as well as trails or whistles in their preferred hues.
