Her Royal Highness, The Queen of England was in for something of a treat yesterday as THQ delivered to Buckingham Palace, a gold-plated Wii console, to commemorate the launch of Big Family Games from the publisher. The Royal Family also received a copy of the brand new Wii game, Big Family Games, to go with their shiny new console.
“Big Family Games is the ultimate Wii game to get all family members, from grandparents to young children, playing together. The Royal Family is arguably the most important family in the country so we felt that they had to have a copy of the new game,” said Danielle Robinson, Product Manager at THQ. “But we thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra-special gold one was commissioned. We hope that she and the rest of the Royal Family enjoy the game!”
The entire Royal Family will be able to play 24 unique games on the new gold Wii console based on classic family games. The unique games include golf, lawn darts, tennis, bocce, ladder golf, horseshoes, and more. We hear, Her Royal Highness, The Queen will even be able to create and customize characters for everyone in the Royal Family on the gold Wii console.
