Robocalypse 2 to arrive on Nintendo Wii?

Robocalypse, released in November 2008 by Vogster, was a refreshing real-time strategy game. Although, the game didn’t do too well probably because of its weak marketing and the jam-packed holiday ensemble it had to compete with. The scoop is that the Vogster crew have a sequel lined up which is poised to be a Wii exclusive.

On his LinkedIn profile Micah Wright, who has written fifteen console games among other things, has tactfully hinted about Robocalypse 2. The post seems to say that the game has been in development since December 2008. So far there has been no news on when this humorous sequel will be released.

The first installment of the game required players to take their surprisingly intelligent bunch of robots to battle with a contingent of evil machines. The game allows for up to 4 players to challenge each other via Wi-Fi in multiplayer. In the hilarious single player story mode, players must lead their army to victory.
