It seems that the Nintendo Wii is becoming a hotbed for not only survival horror games but also the Resident Evil Series. Last year, they had announced two RE games, Resident Evil 4 and The Umbrella Chronicles for Nintendo’s current generation console. One more game, Resident Evil Zero was released in Japan earlier this year.
Now there are speculations that a remake of Resident Evil 2 could find its way to the Nintendo Wii. Rumors about it started emerging after it fan board 2ch from Japan posted about Biohazard 2 Wii (which is nothing but RE 2). What’s more, apparently this remake of Resident Evil 2 will be exclusive to the Wii.
Apparently the Resident Evil 2 remake for the Nintendo will have RE 4 viewpoints as well as additional story elements. It would be interesting if Capcom releases a remake of Resident Evil 2 on the Wii as some time ago there were rumors that Resident Evil 5 would also released on Nintendo’s current generation console.
