Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure on American VC this week

There is always place for strange games of the yesteryears on the Virtual Console, isn’t it? This week, Nintendo sends word that Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure will be up on the American VC. The WiiWare service gets two games, Boingz and Sudoku Challenge!

First up, there is the Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure game for the VC. The platformer was released on the Sega Genesis initially and later on the SNES. Gamers have to play as Boogerman, who has a ‘nose’ for adventure. There are enemies like Deodor Ant and Fly Boy. Boogerman has powers such as picking and flicking with deadly precision, belching as well as his deadly signature stomp.

Coming to the WiiWare games, there is Boingz from RealArcade. The game features thirty levels of puzzle-platforming fun. So what are the Boingz exactly? Well, they are flexible little critters, which you can pull, stretch and flick from place to place. Gamers can expect surreal landscapes and have to collect the Twinklies to power up.

Lastly we have the Sudoku Challenge! game for the WiiWare service from Digital Leisure Inc. The game boasts of more than a hundred million Sudoku puzzles. What’s more, gamers can not only select the classic nine-by-nine Sudoku game boards, they also have the option of the Grand Sudoku, which features five intersecting Sudoku boards. Also, there are three difficulty options in the puzzle game.

These games are already up on the Wii Shop Channel. The game on the Virtual Console, Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure, comes with a price tag of 800 Wii Points. As for the WiiWare games, Boingz has been priced at 1000 Wii Points while Sudoku Challenge! costs 500 Wii Points.
