Games for WiiWare and Virtual Console for this week Revealed by Nintendo

Earlier, Nintendo used to release at least two games on the VC. Anyways, now the Wii gamers also have WiiWare. This week, Nintendo has announced two games for WiiWare and one game for the American VC. Block Breaker Deluxe and Cocoto Fishing Master will be out this week on Wii Ware while VC gets Samurai Shodown.

For the WiiWare, first up we have Block Breaker Deluxe by Gameloft. The game is a reinvention of the classic arcade brick-breaker and features special bricks as well as multiple bonuses, secret weapons, paddle size options and even ball-speed variations. It also has an exclusive multiplayer mode.

Then we have, Cocoto Fishing Master by Neko Entertainment. The game sees the players take the role of Cocoto and travel the world to locate five millennial fish. Gamers can make use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to catch more than thirty different fish. The game has five enchanted lakes in five different worlds from Cocoto’s universe as well as gigantic bosses.

As for the Virtual Console, Samurai Shodown will be up. It debuted in the early nineties. Gamers can choose from twelve swordsmen with highly individualistic characteristics and take on the evil Amakusa Shiro Tokisada. It has a refined camera system smoothly zooms in and out of the playing field.

Block Breaker Deluxe will come with a price tag of 800 Wii Points while Cocoto Fishing Master will be a little cheaper as it costs 700 Wii Points. As for the VC game, Samurai Shodown, it costs 900 Wii Points. The games are already up on the Wii Shop Channel.
