Previously Sonic games such as Sonic Spinball and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 have been released on the Virtual Console. Now Nintendo sends word that Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is up on the American VC. This week, the WiiWare service gets Bruiser and Scratch and Hockey Allstar Shootout.
Details of games on the American VC and WiiWare games:
Firstly, there is the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 game for the American VC. This version will be the one that was made especially for the Sega Master System. Gamers play as Sonic and go on the search for the Chaos Emeralds. At the end, Sonic must also take on the evil Dr. Eggman.
Next up is the WiiWare game, Bruiser and Scratch, from Steel Penny Games. The puzzler is set in a strange world, where Bruiser and Scratch are stranded. The world has a dark secret. The game features more than forty eight puzzles and six landscapes. There is even the Challenge mode that has seventy-five additional puzzles.
The last game is the Hockey Allstar Shootout for the WiiWare from Big Blue Bubble. Gamers can employ the Wiimote as a hockey stick. There are three exhilarating Hockey Skills Challenges, Head 2 Head, Sharp Shooter and Power Shot. There is even a two-player mode in the game.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for the American VC comes with a price tag of 500 Wii Points. As for the WiiWare games, Bruiser and Scratch costs 1000 Wii Points while Hockey Allstar Shootout costs 500 Wii Points. All these three games are up on the Wii Shop Channel.
