Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2, which already have Japanese gamers catching ‘em all, will be launched for the Nintendo DS family of systems on October 7, 2012. Although, Pokedex 3D Pro is yet to get a confirmed launch date for the 3DS, Pokemon Dream Radar – another 3DS game to complement Black and White 2, will also be made available via the eShop on the above mentioned date.
The new Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 titles are all set to take players back to the Unova region, two years after the events that transpired in the initial games. A number of fresh areas have been added to the environment, while players will even get to witness changes to previously visited places. Virbank City is a new area where gamers will be able to enter the Pokestar Studios and act in their own movie with their favorite Pokemon. An in-game theater will then premiere the film, and it will also be rated by audiences.

No matter whether people are playing on Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS, they’ll be getting an incredible Pokémon experience that expands upon the beloved Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games,” shared Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing.
While the Black and White Version 2 games are meant for the DS, they will indeed be playable on the 3DS, but it 2D. Nintendo will also launch two special Pokemon titles for the 3DS which will be downloadable via the eShop. One of them is Pokemon Dream Radar, enabling fans to catch rare Pokemon using the 3DS camera and transfer them into the Black and White Version 2 games. The second 3DS offering is actually an enhanced Pokedex 3D Pro which is yet to receive a launch date.
As mentioned above, Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 will be out for the DS on October 7 in retail form. These games can be pre-ordered now at a price of 34.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,990) each.
