This week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games has been headlined by Samurai Sword Destiny, which is a side-scrolling game that can now be purchased exclusively for the 3DS. A WiiWare named Zombii Attack also launches this week, along with other handheld titles like Quick Fill Q, 3 Heroes – Crystal Soul and an app named Swapnote.
Samurai Sword Destiny is being described as a character action game which will challenge players of all levels. It lets you assume control of a female samurai named Akane, who is faced with the task of finding and bringing back her missing elder brother. This title can be played by gamers with either the stylus of the 3DS or its buttons.
Quick Fill Q involves a spherical creature who keeps on rolling without ever stopping. However, there are holes that keep coming in its way to halt its progress. Gamers are required to solve puzzles and fill these holes in order for the creature to keep rolling. A number of difficulty levels make their way into this game along with trait that saves high scores.
The next title in this list is 3 Heroes – Crystal Souls which takes place in an ancient kingdom that utilizes Crystal Soul as its main energy source. Playing as Crystal Champion, gamers must overcome monsters and collect different natural energy sources in order to protect their kingdom. Both Quick Fill Q and 3 Heroes – Crystal Soul are now available for the DSi as well as the 3DS.
The only WiiWare in this week’s Nintendo downloadable games is Zombii Attack. A metropolitan city has been overwhelmed by zombies and a giant slingshot is all that gamers have by their side on their quest to survive. This game is now available for purchase through the Wii Shop Channel at 500 Points. Furthermore, a free Swapnote app that lets 3DS owners send handwritten 3D notes to their friends via the SpotPass and StreetPass features also make its way to the eShop this week.
Samurai Sword, which is the highlight of this week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games, can be bought from the eShop at a price of 5.99 USD (approx. Rs. 320). While Quick Fill Q retails on the DSi Shop at 200 Points, 3 Heroes – Crystal Soul can be downloaded from the same service at 500 Points. Both these titles are also available on the eShop at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 105) and 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 265) respectively.
