CTA Digital Deluxe Power Grip Accessory Out Now for the Nintendo 3DS

Designed to apparently solve the problem of ‘short battery life’ of the Nintendo 3DS, the CTA Digital Deluxe Power Grip accessory is now available for purchase in the U.S. This piece of clothing for the handheld features an ergonomic shape that is said to provide players with a comfortable grip during long gaming hours.

The grip is equipped with an additional battery to keep the 3DS working even when it runs out of juice. It can be charged using its USB cable or the original 3DS AC Adapter. When fully charged, an LED indicator on the power grip will turn from red to blue. All controls of the 3DS including the headphone jack, sliders and game slots remain easily within reach when the accessory is attached to the handheld.

To endow the power grip with a comfortable design, it has been filled with silicone material which is supposedly durable enough to resist scratches and bumps. Furthermore it is also claimed to double up as a protective layer for the 3DS. Gamers will need to make use of the accessory’s lock-on latch in order to securely attach it to the handheld.

For users to be able to rest their hands, a built-in stand folds out of the grip to hold it upright. Moreover, its angle can be chosen from two settings according to the players’ preference. The power grip also houses an extra slot for storing one more 3DS card.

Gamers in the U.S. can now purchase the CTA Digital Deluxe Power Grip accessory for their Nintendo 3DS handhelds at a price of 29.99 USD (approx Rs. 1,482).
