Last week Nintendo had four releases for its handheld on DSiWare. This week Nintendo has sent word of five DSiWare titles. Surviving High School, Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr., Game & Watch: Flagman, Game & Watch: Ball, and myPostcards are available as DSiWare for the DSi and the DSi XL.
Surviving High School is from EA for one player. The game puts you in Centerscore High as the new kid in school. The game has the premier “Football Season” storyline and seven other episodes, and you can unlock custom looks for your character and meet other kids in school who can help or hurt you. You can participate in several activities, such as trying out for the school play, working in a bakery or taking on a local mobster. You can even travel to Europe. There are also several minigames and with the exclusive Trophy System you can track all your results. There is even a Bonus Episode to be unlocked. Surviving High School is available for 800 Nintendo DSi Points.
Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr. is a game from Nintendo for one player. Donkey Kong is trapped and Donkey Kong Jr. must get the key to set him free from Mario’s cage. Crows and alligators try and dent Junior’s plans. Points can be earned by unlocking the cage, hitting the crows and alligators with food and by jumping over the alligators. Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr. is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Game & Watch: Flagman also from Nintendo for one player has two sub-games. The first one (GAME A) is a game in which you must memorise the order in which flags are raised, and then follow up by raising them in the same order, while in the second (GAME B) you must raise the flag according to corresponding number. Game & Watch: Flagman is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Game & Watch: Ball is an innovative one for one player. You must move the juggler’s arms to catch the balls so that he can keep juggling. But drop even a single ball and the game comes to an abrupt end. Game & Watch: Ball is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
myPostcards is the last title this week for DSiWare. From publisher Nnooo, it is for one player and allows DSi owners to create their own postcards and send them to friends. You can take a picture, write a note on it, save it as a postcard and send it to friends. Postcards can even be customised using the 32 built-in background themes. You can erase something you don’t like and use five different inks. myPostcards is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
