LovePlus DS new dating simulation from Konami

There have been many simulation genre titles that have hit the gaming market throughout the years. Now one more game adds to that category but in this case it is a dating simulation called LovePlus. According to Tiny Cartridge, this title is programmed and developed by Konami. The company is acclaimed for their various famous introductions including the Silent Hill and Metal Gear series.

LovePlus

The title exploits the exclusive features of the Nintendo DS like the stylus. Unlike other games featured in this genre, LovePlus enables players to touch the girl onscreen with the help of the stylus. As Destructoid reports, players have to use the stylus to woo the virtual girl into kissing them. This may not be as easy as it sounds as gamers have to first seduce her by planting pecks and kisses on different parts of her face, head and neck.

Whilst doing all this, gamers have to be a little careful about not attracting too much of attention from people. This is represented by flickering icons on the DS screen. As Tiny Cartridge puts it, while playing the game players can enter a ‘skinship’ mode where the virtual girl hints at getting a little closer to the gamer. Once in this mode, players must decipher just how the girl likes to be kissed and touched.

When she looks downward means she wants to be kissed on the forehead. Gamers can oblige by running their stylus over that particular part to bring her closer to giving them a kiss on the lips. If her head is tilted more downward then players have to run their stylus on her hair. When the girl looks right at the screen with her eyes open means she wants the gamer to plant a kiss on her cheek.

All this lasts for nearly 3 minutes after which the in-game character actually gives players a smooch. No exact word on the pricing and availability of LovePlus as of now.
