Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron for Nintendo DS and PSP out now

Back in May we reported that Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron would unleash this autumn. This very day has finally arrived as the latest game from LucasArts namely Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron hits stores for the PSP and Nintendo DS. The latest installment in the Star Wars Battlefront series sees gamers battle on multi-level battlefronts on the ground as well as in space terrains. The fights that take place on each front may affect the final outcome of the battle being fought on another front.

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron includes a single-player campaign and lets players adorn the role of X2. Leaving his horrifying past of killing Jedi, he now joins the Rebellion. His clone-brother namely X1 has chose to follow the dark path and the confrontation between both the forces could determine the whole turnout with the Rebellion and the Empire.

There are also loads of pick-up-and-play action that offers great replay value. The PSP version provides great customization options to players. This comes complete with different weapons and outfits true to the Star Wars Battlefront series. The Nintendo DS version lets gamers wield heavy weapons, lightsabers and blasters. Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron enable up to 4 players and includes a new ‘Heroes and Villains’ mode.

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron is now out for the PSP and Nintendo DS. The exact price is still not disclosed by the company.
